Treatment & Medications
There are now medications available that have been shown to reduce the number, frequency and severity of attacks (exacerbations) in MS. Treatments might also be prescribed to manage an acute exacerbation of symptoms. In addition, there are many medications for symptoms such as pain, spasticity, fatigue, and bladder difficulties. It is best to consult your neurologist or GP about what medical treatments and self-management strategies might be most suitable for you.
