Go For Gold Scholarships

The Go for Gold Scholarship will be awarded to people with MS in ACT, NSW and Victoria to follow their dream in the areas of Education, Music, Travel, Sport, the Arts and Employment.

2010 ACT/NSW/VIC Go for Gold Scholarship application forms will be available from March 2010.

MS Australia - ACT/ NSW/VIC gratefully acknowledges the generous full sponsorship of the Go for Gold Sponsorships by the 24 Hour Mega Swim. 2009 is the ninth year that Mega Swim has sponsored the
Go for Gold Scholarships. Thank you to all Mega Swim organisers, swimmers and supporters for your
generosity and volunteer time.

Examples

If a 92 year old gentleman with MS has always wanted piano lessons and was never able to achieve this, he could win a Go for Gold $3,000 music scholarship to fulfill his dream.

If an elite athlete with MS such as a Para-Olympian wanted to participate in the world championships in Europe - they could also win a $3,000 scholarship.

The magic of the Go for Gold Scholarships, is that, the 92 year old man and the elite athlete have an equal chance. This makes the scholarships unique.
