Learn About MS
An information and education program that provides accurate information about MS and MS Australia programs. A great way to have your questions answered and to meet health professionals and other people living with MS. This is a useful program for people recently diagnosed with MS as well as friends and family. Topics include a medical overview, ideas for managing symptoms and strategies to stay active with MS
Live Well with MS
An education program for people wanting to consider what it means to live well with multiple sclerosis. Topics include a healthy approach, diet & lifestyle, understanding medical management, Managing Fatigue and complementary approaches.
Managing Fatigue
A 6 week course of education/information sessions focused on fatigue management. Participants will develop a greater understanding of MS related fatigue, discover a range of energy effectiveness techniques to trial at home and at work throughout the course and have the opportunity to connect with others who are also challenged by MS fatigue.
Working with MS: Making Informed Choices
A program to provide people with MS with information on their rights and responsibilities, and their employer's obligations, in the workplace. Participants will increase their knowledge of employment, superannuation and insurance rights, explore issues around disclosure of MS to work colleagues, and develop strategies for symptom management at the workplace. It is recommended that people with MS attend this program prior to making significant work related decisions.
Taking Control and Planning Ahead
The law in Victoria gives you a number of ways to help ensure you have maximum control over how decisions are made when you are not in a pposition to make these decisions yourself. The Office of the Public Advocate will provide advice on various types of enduring powers of Attorney, Guardianship and Administration.

Journey Club
A 4 week program for families with primary school aged children. Come as a family and explore life with MS in a fun and creative way.
Thinking & Memory in MS
Thinking & memory changes in MS may go unrecognised. They are also often difficult for the person with MS & those around them to understand. Common MS-related difficulties include concentrating, learning & recalling information, thinking quickly, multi-tasking & planning efficiently. Common emotional changes such as depression can also affect thinking & memory, as can physical symptoms such as fatigue and pain.
This session will explore common MS-related thinking & memory changes & their management in the context of both larger MS-symptom picture & everyday cognitive management strategies.
