"I have MS but MS does not have me
While in his mid-twenties this fun loving, carefree young man felt the world was his oyster, until his immune system took a wrong turn resulting in a diagnosis of relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis.

With limited knowledge of the diagnosis but fearing the worse, Ross' thought of "being confined to a wheelchair for life" was an understandably significant and overwhelming fear.
Ross is fortunately blessed with a naturally positive attitude, and jumped right into educating himself fully about the possible disease outcomes, and what positive action he could embrace, to fuel his determination to take some sort of control of an often reliably unpredictable disease.
Never one to "wallow in it" even when the chips are down, this inspirational and proactive gentleman utilized his determination and positive out look on life to walk again following many months immobile. It was not the end of the road, just the beginning, for Ross to maintain an out look on life, where the highest priority was to always look forward - never back. And so began a strong relationship with MS NSW/Victoria with Ross volunteering in many areas including the MS Ambassador Program.
MS Australia - ACT/ NSW/VIC highly recommends MS Ambassador Ross Egan as a motivational public speaker who is dynamic, inspiring and dedicated to assist everyone to look for a positive in life even when it is difficult to visualize.
