For almost three years Lou Ellen took a magical mystery tour from misdiagnosis to no diagnosis and beyond accumulating weeks in hospital, truck loads of drugs, inconclusive tests, disappearing symptoms and baffled specialists.

With an incredible will to survive this determined and amazingly positive woman scoured consultation after consultation from eastern to western medicine trying unusual treatments such as eating frogs glands - you name it she tried it!
Although at this turbulent time Lou Ellen 's wicked sense of humor assisted her to maintain her high profile role as Collections People Leader with a major banking institution managing up to 16 staff. On reflection how she managed this she will never know.
Following loosing her vision and ability to read and write together previous numbness, muscle spasm and debilitating pain provided a long awaited and definite diagnosis of multiple sclerosis the most common chronic neurological disease of the 20 to 50 age group.
Six months rehabilitation to return to life and the workplace required re-assessment of financial and life goals and relearning how to retain information in new ways and the freedom of living with more structure, routine and changed priorities is a positive result.
MS Australia - ACT/NSW/VIC highly recommends MS Ambassador Lou Ellen Deyzel who is an engaging ambassador who with great determination has come out the other side of a very dark place even more resilient and with her sense of humour intake. But as she says "Through endurance magical things happen."
