MS Practice is an initiative of MS Australia and is a series designed to support allied health professionals in the symptom management of people with multiple sclerosis (MS). The series discusses various symptoms associated with MS and provides health professionals with evidence-based information and clinical practice recommendations to enhance the quality of care and outcomes for people with MS.

Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) is a promising field of science has made exciting discoveries in cancer, heart disease, and other health areas. Recent research suggests that PNI may also provide new insights into the cause of MS, possible treatments and risk minimisation approaches. PNI is about the interaction between psychology, neurology, the immune system and hormones in the development and progression of MS. A website has been established by MS Australia – ACT/NSW/VIC to share information about PNI and MS. A quarterly PNI e-bulletin is also available on the website.

MS Australia – ACT/NSW/VIC together with the Heart Foundation, is delighted to announce the launch of the Heartmoves program for people living with MS. Heartmoves is a low to moderate intensity exercise program and is open to everyone and is designed to be safe for people with stable long term health conditions such as cardiac, diabetic conditions or multiple sclerosis.
