Carers Australia and the network of carers associations in each state and territory's purpose is to improve the lives of carers. Together we provide important services like counselling, advice, advocacy, education and training. We also promote the recognition of carers to governments, businesses and the wider public.

Carers ACT, NSW and Victoria
Carers ACT, NSW and Victoria are state-wide organisation whose primary focus is carers. The organisation offers direct services to support carers in their caring role, including assistance with specialised information and resources in a range of areas, including: community care services in the local area, financial entitlements, carer support services, legal issues for carers, health and wellbeing, respite, disease or condition-specific organisations. MS Australia ACT/NSW/VIC Peer Support Groups
The Peer Support Program is a confidential service that provides mutual support for members. In Victoria the service is available over the telephone, face-to-face or online, and in NSW and the ACT it is available over the telephone and online.

The Victorian Carers Services Network is an online information resource, including information about the Commonwealth Carer Resource Centres, carer benefits (such as Centrelink payments), news events and calendar.
