RED FUSE BALL 13th March 2010 raised over $25,000 Melinda Clark and the fuse Gallery team created another amazing night. In true form, the second Red Fuse Ball was all about having fun in Pricilla Queen of The Desert style. Held at Lindeman's winery in the Hunter, the Pricilla Queen of The Desert Bus was the backdrop and theme for the night. Champagne was flowing while the guests enjoyed the show and wowed over the costumes – just like in the film! Guest came from far and wide to be part of this event. The soiree kept every one entertained, tasty gourmet food and a fabulous band which allowed the guests to dance the night away and all the way to the bus which took them safely home. A good night was had by all and the support and fundraising for people with MS was amazing. Over $25,000 was raised. MSL would like to thank Melinda and her team for their outstanding efforts and on going commitment to help people with MS. People are already talking about the 2011 event. MONSTER SESSION @ The MANNING BAR - Sydney University: Saturday 13th March 2010 ZOMBIE DOG & OUTBACK RnR presented the return of Monster Session 2010. With a sold out show an impressive line up of 90's bands played from 12 noon to midnight keeping 800 keen punters rocking at the Sydney University Manning bar. The mood for the day was about the music, creating awareness about MS and fundraising. The Monster Session audience gave generously and showed their support by purchasing raffle tickets and limited edition Monster Session merchandise. The word on the street was huge for this event and the promoters are already talking about 2011 and a possible additional show in Melbourne. MSL would like to thank Glenn Koek and Graham Bowditch and their team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the show such huge success and their ongoing commitment to help people with MS. 	Ride Around the lake Saturday May 8th 2010 Lighthouse Community Care - Ride Around the Lake charity ride at Lake Illawarra 2010 was another great success, another beautiful day on the edge of the lake and over 400 keen participants entered the event. MSL received $11,530.00. Ride Around The Lake aims to raise much needed funds for the lighthouse community centre local youth housing initiative called 'My Place'. The funds will go directly to a facility providing accommodation and mentoring for displaced young people. A portion of the funds raised comes directly to MSL. The Yoga Aid Challenge held around Australia on November 15th 2009 - Raised an amazing $43,926 Thank you to all the Yoga Aid team for staging such a successful event and to all who participated donated and or sponsored someone. The Yoga Aid Challenge is a charity fundraising event. 2009 was its third year in Australia. The aim of the Challenge is to raise money for charity while raising awareness about the benefits of yoga among the wider community. Participants fundraise prior to the event and all money raised goes directly to the charity partners. This year MSL has joined the Yoga Aid Challenge as a charity partner and people nationally will be able to fundraise for people with MS.
