ABOUT MONSTER SESSION 2009
Monster Session 2009 was a huge success. This old school rock and roll extravaganza showcased 12 punk bands from the 90’s who reformed just to do this one off benefit concert for MS Australia. 180 people turned up to indulge, dance, enjoy and support people with MS. The bands generously donated their time and played from 12 noon to midnight for all to enjoy. All people who pre purchased tickets received a compilation CD with previously unreleased tracks from all of the bands who played.
Monster Session 2009 raised a total off $19,535 from ticket sales and sales from a variety of merchandise including limited edition posters and t-shirts and items auctioned on Ebay which included a tunic donated from Chrissie Amphlett (Divinyls).
